Anti-platelets are a group of medicines that stop blood from sticking together and forming blood clots.

Drug Introduction:

Clopidogrel and Aspirin combination drug is an oral Anti-platelet drug.

Clopidogrel is under the classification of Purinergic Receptor Antagonists. Aspirin is under the classification of NSAIDs.

Uses / Indications:

Clopidogrel and Aspirin combination drugs are used to prevent serious or life-threatening problems concerning the heart and blood vessels in people who have had a stroke, heart attack or severe chest pains. This combination drug is used in heart attacks and following the placement of a coronary artery stent (dual antiplatelet therapy). This combination drug is recommended to be used with proper diet and exercise regularly, possibly with other medications.
