Medicine interaction:

Telmisartan increases blood potassium levels due to its mechanism of action. This in combination with potassium preparations or potassium-sparing diuretics could cause hyperkalaemia. In combination with NSAIDs can cause kidney damage, especially in patients with impaired kidney function. Drug interactions may cause a change in the manner in which the drug affects the body, this may lead to an increased risk for serious side effects. Do not change, start or stop the usage and dosage of any medicines without consulting your doctor.
